case study

Lucky Goat Coffee

what's in the bag?

Many ingredients go into a packaging solution: economics, consumer habits, competitive advantages. A successful solution is a lot more than aesthetics, and yet, the resulting brand experience is a very tactile and visual one.

Lucky Goat engaged BowStern to help them make a leap in their brand experience, as part of their regional expansion.

it's in the details

As well as looking good, the bag came with several key improvements over its predecessor. Basic brew instructions, a universal brew-date chart and a zip-seal closure to keep coffee fresh all added value to the packaging.

Color-coded labels easily identify the type of blend and the roast. Spot gloss varnish picks out key details on the semi-gloss bag.
