Schroeder Joins Bowstern Crew
(Tallahassee, Fla.) Today, Representatives from BowStern Marketing Communications announced the hire of Cathy Schroeder as Vice President of Public Affairs. With nearly two decades of experience in communications, Schroeder brings expertise in government affairs and nonprofit communications to the firm headquartered in Florida’s Capital City.
“Cathy brings a reputation for top-notch, strategic messaging and experience in a variety of high-profile agencies to our team,” said Kelly Robertson, CEO and cofounder of BowStern. “We are proud to have her join the BowStern crew and excited to add her creative energy to the mix as we continue to expand into new industries.”
Schroeder’s resume includes notable positions including Vice President of Public Affairs at the Florida Children’s Forum, Executive Director of Lauren’s Kids, Communications Director for the Florida Department of Management Services and a five-year stint as Senior Account Representative at Sachs Media Group. Most recently, Schroeder served the Florida State Board of Education in developing policies to bolster the state’s PreK through state college system.
“BowStern’s collaborative approach to projects, commitment to client success and sense of fun made the company the obvious choice when I was deciding what I wanted to do next,” said Schroeder. “These qualities truly set them apart. I’m honored join a crew committed to achieve the very best for their clients, colleagues and community.”
The addition of Schroeder to the BowStern team comes at a time when the firm has been recognized for both outstanding growth and outstanding performance. Last week, the company was named to Inc. Magazine’s elite 5000 list and to the Seminole 100 list, accolades that recognize BowStern as one of the fastest-growing privately owned companies in the country. These announcements came just days after the firm brought home top marketing honors at the Gold’s Gym International Convention in Las Vegas for the fifth consecutive year.
