BowStern Earns Honors At State Conference

Firm brings home five awards for marketing efforts

(Orlando, Fla.)  Last night, the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) hosted its annual Golden Image Awards ceremony at the Omni Orlando Resort. The first two awards of the night went to BowStern Marketing Communications, and over the course of the evening, BowStern earned a total of five awards, including:

  • Judge’s Awards and Award of Distinction: “Stuff the Bus.” This campaign designed for the City of Tallahassee’s public transportation system was a fully integrated effort to raise donations for a local food bank.
  • Award of Distinction: “Take Note.” An internal campaign for the National Court Reporters Association, this effort introduced the national marketing initiative to members of the association before the campaign’s official launch.
  • Judge’s Award and Award of Distinction: “Forever Florida.” This electronic marketing entry for Hometown America highlighted an electronic blast sent out to potential home-buyers.

“Winning five awards for three entry submissions truly is a testament to the creativity of our team,” said Kelly Robertson, APR, CEO of BowStern. “We are frequently tasked with making a large impact using multiple disciplines within the company, and to be deemed successful by our peers is overwhelming.”

The FPRA Image Awards competition is open to all public relations and marketing agencies and associations in Florida, and the awards are a standard of excellence within the industry. A panel of marketing professionals judges all entries based on production, execution, evaluation of results and budget.
